Daniel Dubois has been the talk of the town lately, of course, many people have been looking for the next big thing. Who is Daniel Dubois?

Daniel is a British active professional boxer, the son of Dave Dubois born on the 6th of September 1997 in Greenwich, London, England. He started his career on the 4th of August 2017, and During his fightings on the stage, he came across nicknames as Dynamite and Triple D.

He started working on his road to stardom in 2017 after coming across Frank Warren, who happens to be an English boxing manager and promoter. Daniel automatically had a life breakthrough after breaking through his first stage fight with a knockout, which socked and made the flocks speechless.

He became the British heavyweight champion since 07/2019 and also held the Commonwealth heavyweight title, after yet another mind-boggling performance at Royal Albert Hall since 09/2019. Daniel Dubois now holds a 92.31% knockout (KOs) ratio.

Marcus Kelly who is an England fighter was the first opponent of Daniel Dubois. on the 8th of April 2017, Daniel defeats Marcus during the first round in 35 seconds with a knockout.

Blaise Mendouo was his second opponent and Daniel won his second fight with Blaise, a Cameron heavyweight champion, during the second round in 48 seconds. On the 20th of May 2017, David Howe challenged and lost his fight to Daniel easily with a knockout.

Daniel’s 4th fight took place in the chopper box arena in London, England on the 8th of July 2017. he battled with Mauricio Barragan, a  vacant WBO heavyweight champion, and therefore took the title from Barrangn.

After his 4th fight, Daniel started preparing for his next fight with AJ Carter and said “I’d love to jump at the chance to fight for a major British belt like that. I’ve seen a few tapes of AJ Carter so I’m excited and training hard for him right now.” 

And On The 6th of September 2017, Daniel found himself in the ring with AJ Carter, and in the first round, Daniel conquered him with a knockout within 48 seconds, and claim the Southern Area heavyweight title.

Daniel had his last fight for the year 2017 on the 9th of December with Dorian Darch. Astonishingly, he set Dorian Darch down within 51 seconds in the 2nd round.

On the 24th of February 2018, DL Jones challenged Daniel, over the Southern Area heavyweight title but Daniel retained the title by defeating DL Jones. He came across more tough fighters including Tom Little, Ebenezer Tetteh, and more.

In our last review, Daniel is said to be 5 feet and 6 inches in (196cm) tall, a  division of heavy weightiness, and achieved 78 in (198 cm) with a stance of orthodox.


To stay out of trouble during his early life at his age of 9, his dad Dave Dubois considered taking him to Peacock Gym, to train boxing under the command of Tony and Martin Bowers.

Daniel has been making a bunch of wins way back being an amateur before dreaming of being famous. He has accomplished many titles including the English schoolboy title, junior ABAs title, and the CYPs title all twice.  He became two gold medalists of multi-nation European Youth championships in Finland and Germany.

Daniel premeditated on partaking in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, but first and foremost wanting to be a pro boxer.

On the 8th of April 2017. Daniel achieved one of his goals by defeating Marcus Kelly with a powerful knockout in between 35 seconds. This gave him his highly anticipated Pro title

In 2017, Daniel won the vacant WBC Youth World heavyweight title, and way more which shall be discussed in the next chapter (boxrec). According to Steve Bunce, a boxing journalist says Daniel’s jap is a stiff weapon transmitted from relics of the ring, for breaking through all his first 13 fights with 12 knockouts in his boxing record.
