Job Title: HR Team Lead

Description

  • Providing an advisory and solution to staff and management on a range of human resources issues, procedures and policies consistent with employee standards and guidelines.

Qualifications

Description

  • The incumbent will be accountable for planning, directing, and supervising large construction projects.
  • Overseeing all the different engineering processes in a construction project whilst bringing specific knowledge to projects, such as cost control, cost accounting, and management of project schedules.

Core Accountabilities

  • Spearhead cross-functional initiative to achieve commercial build outs, demolition, remodel, restoration, damage assessment and commercial property maintenance.
  • Create drawings, models, and assemblies of apparatuses
  • Assist different sites in expediting construction repair for various facilities and schedule commencement of construction to correct deficiencies with facility lessor.
  • Spearhead cross-functional initiative to achieve commercial build outs, demolition, remodel, restoration, damage assessment and commercial property maintenance.
  • Act as Project manager for project scheduling and delay claims consulting for major public building and infrastructure projects.
  • Oversee all phases of construction, infrastructure and environmental projects for clients.
  • Design work include selection of clean up schemes, detail design drawings and specifications development, and RFP preparation.
  • Answer RFI’s relate to structural drawings, materials, and questions relate to the specifications.
  • Skilled in all areas of woodworking, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, roofing, masonry, paint and plastering.
  • Perform take-offs of select components of the dam and assist the procurement of permanent materials by answering RFI’s from vendors.
  • Prepare project schedules and monitoring reports
  • Create as-built drawings that reflect exact specifications require for projects
  • Maintain safety records that meet industry standards and monitor emergency requirements.
  • Assist in preparing the documentation necessary for RFPs

QMS, EMS & QH& SMS Responsibilities

  • Implement the QMS as defined by the manual and related procedures.
  • Obtain and communicate customer requirements to the appropriate personnel or functional organization.
  • Ensure that qualified personnel and other resources are available to implement the QMS.
  • Ensuring effective management of environmental aspects, risks and opportunities and implementation of improvement programs
  • Ensuring that the environmental and occupational health and safety management systems achieves its intended results within department.
  • Ensure that services satisfy customer requirements including quality, safety, cost, schedule, and performance; and
  • Ensure that personnel comply with applicable laws, regulations, specifications, standards, and documented procedures.
  • Ensuring the integration of the OHSMS and EMS requirements into the departmental processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as

Job Title: Treasury Account Officer

  • Entering of all payments made on Sage ERP.
  • Receive and retain requisitions/ cash advance forms submitted to Accounts.
  • Check and confirm validity of requisitions/ cash advance received and ensure compliance with Finance SOP.
  • Prepare and update schedule of paid and unpaid requisitions and cash advance requests.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly schedules of cash advance disbursed and retired.
  • Receive, vet and retain cash advance retirements.
  • Receive and retain receipts of all statutory payments.
  • Entering of statutory payments on Sage ERP.

  • Stop work in progress to make appropriate notifications when unsafe conditions exist or requirements are not being met.
  • Ensure that personnel comply with applicable laws, regulations, specifications, standards and documented procedures.
  • Awareness of your contribution to the effectiveness of the EMS and OHS, including the benefits of improved performance and associated opportunities for improvement of processes assigned.

Summary

  • The position will contribute towards the strategic development of all the operating divisions within the Group.
  • The primary areas of responsibility will be to oversee financial operations and ensure that proper accounting practices are adopted and implemented across the organization.

  • As a member of Senior Management team, the Chief Finance Officer will recommend and implement strategic initiatives that will lead to financial stability, compliance with statutory regulations and an increase in profitability.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and implement a strategy for finance and accounting. This will cover financial controls, treasury, management information reporting, and investment appraisals.
  • Develop and implement effective financial forecasting mechanisms
  • Develop and present financial reports to Executive Management
  • Through effective cash forecasting, assure the adequacy of funds sourcing and banking support for the Group ensuring the availability of funds through effective banking relationships and enhancing treasury management systems.
  • Improve the financial systems, controls, and procedures within and between the operating companies
  • Direct the compliance, regulatory and risk management functions
  • Review the budgeting process and impose budgetary discipline
  • When required, negotiate, and arrange external financing for business operation.

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACCA or ICAN Certified).

Preferred Skills:

  • Possess unquestionable integrity, ethical and moral character

  • Strong understanding of financial risk management and oversight
