We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

Job Title: Information Technology Auditor

Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Job type: Full-time

Job Description

  • We are looking for an Information Technology Auditor. You would be required to have a thorough understanding of the Exchange Group policies, overall mission, and strategy, as well as an Extensive knowledge of internal control principles, audit practices, and compliance in an IT-related field with background experience preferably from a listed company.
  • S/He will be responsible for ensuring Internal Audit adopts industry best practices in Information Technology Audit duties across the Group’s operations. This position reports to the Group Chief Internal Audit Officer.

Responsibilities
As a member of the Group Internal Audit department, you would also be responsible for the following:

Provide Assurance that Systems Meets Intended Design & Purpose, through reviewing system development, conducting substantive tests on transactions, ascertaining value for money, and reviewing post implementation of IT projects:

  • Review periodic evaluations of financials and operating systems of internal controls, procedures, and policies in line with prevailing circumstances/realities.
  • Review policies and procedures for comprehensiveness and recommend updating to reflect current realities.
  • Review internal control systems in line with business peculiarities and changes.

Information Technology Review, to achieve a minimum of 75% review in IT Infrastructure & Technology through reviewing governance and management of IT, Information System Acquisition, Development and Implementation, Information System Operations, Maintenance and Support, and also through Protection of Information Assets:

  • Review of Technology Governance and Operations.
  • Reviews of Change Management.
  • Review IT Policies & Procedures Review.

Post-implementation review of IT Projects (6-9 months post project go-live):

  • Reviews to identify risks introduced during the vendor selection, pre-implementation, and go-live due to system adaptation for NGX’s Users and processes.
  • Review and ensure that key controls were embedded through the application acquisition life-cycle and the go-live of various applications and processes.
  • Ensure that investment in IT solutions is optimised and licensed modules of the solution are currently in use.

System Access Control, Access Control Reviews on various systems used in NGX:

  • Review and ensure that the access control strategy aligns with the corporate identity policy and the IT architecture of NGX.
  • Review and ensure that a unique identity is used to initiate a transaction and ensure that the user is currently authorised to perform such action.
  • Ensuring that access violations are identified. E.g. Resigned staff accounts still active on NGX Group applications.

Specialised Audit such as ISO Standards and others that the Exchange Group will subscribe to their certification:

  • Audit of the department/functions against the requirements of the applicable standards eg ISO 27001:2013.
  • Conduct a review of the effectiveness of the Information Security Management System in line with ISO 27001:2013 Standard.

Revenue Assurance Audit using Audit Tools:

  • Review of the various income heads in the books of the HoldCo and Subsidiaries.
  • Ensure that income streams are protected from income leakages due to wrong configurations or manual processes for the collection of income.
  • Ensure accuracy of revenue and in all transactions in the HoldCo and all the Subsidiaries.

Investigation:

  • Conduct investigations as may be directed by Management or Board.
  • Conduct investigations in line with the approved investigation framework.
  • Report findings and recommendations with appropriate evidence and supporting documentation to Executive Management or Board.

Requirements
To successfully deliver these goals, you must have the following relevant experience & qualifications below:

  • First Degree or its equivalent in Accounting, Economics, Information Technology, or a similar field.
  • Relevant professional qualifications such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Audit), ICAN, and ACCA will be an added advantage.
  • Ten (10) years cognate experience with at least two (2) years experience in a mid-senior management audit role.
  • Experience in the financial services or capital market industry will be an added advantage.
  • Must have knowledge of all audit and regulatory requirements.
  • Be known for having high integrity and the ability to build trust with stakeholders.
  • Must have a thorough knowledge of Various Standards and Frameworks which include ISACA framework, COBIT, COSO, SOX, ICFR, BASEL 1 & II etc.

Job Title: Application Support Specialist

Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Job type: Full-time

About the Job

  • We are looking for an Application Support Specialist.
  • You would be responsible for providing software development and analysis services to the NGX.
  • The role would suit someone with proven experience building production, commercial-quality web-based applications (in C# 3.0 and above) that also has proven in-depth SQL-Server development experience.
  • This position reports to the Head, Technology Support & Infrastructure.

Responsibilities
As a member of the Technology Support & Infrastructure department you would also be responsible for the following:

  • Management of contract developers and testers.
  • Ensure good architecture for built applications.
  • Ensure secure coding practices.
  • Ensure the use of the Azure Devops Boards in the application development management process.
  • Ensure the use of source control management.
  • Ensure Adherence to ISO standards.
  • Conduct regular checks on the availability of applications.
  • Ensure the SSIS services are running optimally.

Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
To successfully deliver these goals, you must have the following relevant experience & qualifications below:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc / B.A.) / HND in Computer Science or similar discipline.
  • 3+ years of application and web application development experience (using the .Net Framework 3.0 and above).
  • Other fields of study are acceptable when combined with strong background or work experience within the financial sector.

Skills:
This is the opportunity for you if you have the skills and requirements below:

  • Demonstrable analytical skills with regard to specifying and detailing business processes and requirements.
  • Delivery experience with .NET framework, including C#, ADO.NET, LINQ and ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, and Entity Framework.
  • Extensive experience with SQL Server (2008/2012).
  • Experience with SQL data business intelligence (OLAP, etc…) preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in HTML and DHTML, JavaScript, CSS.
  • Mobile and web service development experience.
  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g.; JIRA, Bugzilla) and managed workflows.
  • Experience with SharePoint 2010 and above preferred.
  • Strong familiarity with source control systems (e.g. Team Foundation Server).

Job Title: Network Specialist

About the Job

  • The job holder is expected to work with the Team Lead, Network in consulting with users while evaluating various requirements which feeds into design recommendation, project planning and installation of data networks.
  • She/He is expected to make recommendations for network maintenance and enhancement with the aim of ensuring uptime of all systems in line with any SLAs.

Responsibilities
Expertise:

  • Consult with user and evaluate requirements, recommend designs, provide cost analyses, plan projects and coordinate tasks for installation of data networks.
  • Analyse and resolve technical problems for established networks.
  • Plan, test recommend, and implement network file server mainframe and workstation hardware and software.
  • Provide network documentation, training and guidance to computing system clients and programmers.
  • Serve as technical specialist in network problems and emergencies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network production problems.

Network Maintenance and Enhancement:

  • Ensure the availability and stability of all Network and Communication Systems including Internet, WAN and LAN services and Telephony services. This requires regular routine maintenance particularly where this may impact security or availability. This includes but is not limited to the following:
    • CCIE certified ideally, minimum CCNP.
    • VoIP (SIP, QoS).
    • Firewalls (ASA, IPS/IDS, ACLs).
    • Cisco Switching and Routing (OSPF, Trunking, VLANs, Subnetting).
    • Internet Access and Availability.
    • System Logging (Syslog).
    • Security.
    • WAN redundancy, performance and scalability (Load balancing, routing).
    • LAN redundancy, performance and scalability (Cisco 6500, 3750, 2960, 3900, 2900).
    • Network Monitoring and Alerting (Netflow, ACS).
    • 24x7x365 Authentication and Security Management Protection (Zero Breach).

Experience and Qualifications

  • HND / B.Sc Degree in Computer Science, any Engineering discipline, Mathematics or Physics will be a distinct advantage.
  • 5+ years post National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Network Analyst; experience in financial services organisation preferred.
  • Network Administration Certification is preferred.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
