Job Title: Financial Accountant

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Provide support to the organization’s operation through the provision of qualitative and timely financial reports and other financial advisory services.

Responsibilities and Key Objectives

  • Review bank reconciliation for all bank accounts.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliation and schedules.
  • Prepare Business Running Cost (BRC) report and forecast.
  • Prepare monthly exceptional reports.
  • Prepare monthly cash call report.
  • Prepare annual budget.
  • Review all requisitions, purchase orders, and invoices on EAM.
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
  • Provide support for annual statutory audit.

Person Specification

  • First Degree in Accounting or any other Finance/Business-related discipline
  • Qualified – ACA, ACCA
  • Minimum of five (5) years of cognate experience

Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  • To provide financial oversight, ensure budgetary controls, and provide timely financial and management reports for the following related Companies:
    • Nigserve Energy Services Limited
    • Invor Energy Services Limited

Responsibilities and Key Objectives
Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Prepare monthly management reports
  • Prepare annual budget
  • Engage with Vessel Charterer to obtain purchase order, and timely issue service receipt report and sales invoice. Process sales invoices on the system
  • Engage with Charterer to ensure timely payment of invoices, close out any payment issue and carry out customer account reconciliation
  • Follow-up with Charterer on timely remittance of all statutory deductions i.e., WHT, VAT, and Cabotage. Ensure collection of WHT credit notes and for records evidence of remittance of Cabotage
  • Review suppliers’ invoices for delivery, completion, and accuracy. Process suppliers’ invoices on the system
  • Prepare payment run and forward to group treasury for payment processing
  • Prepare cashflow forecast
  • Responsible for month-end and year-end close process
  • Prepare monthly schedules and reports in line with the group closing timetable
  • Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit

Job Title: Technical Applications and Data Engineer

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  • To support technical and web-based applications by ensuring continuous availability while streamlining existing processes through the development of automated solutions leveraging web and database development technologies.

Responsibilities and Key Objectives

  • Support drilling, operations, technical and Sub Surface client and server-side solutions by providing 1st and 2nd Level support, performing root-cause analysis, and ensuring continuous availability of these applications.
  • Responsible for ensuring application and data backup, establishing data redundancy to guarantee zero data loss and prolonged downtime across all technical applications.
  • Manage relationship with Application OEMs to ensure routine patch and upgrade implementation, safeguard license availability, stay abreast with new feature releases, and advise users accordingly.
  • Analyze, Streamline, Document, and Automate existing processes through the development of Web and Mobile based solutions with robust dashboard and reporting capabilities to provide process improvement and actionable intelligence.
  • Leverage Office 365 and Azure Offerings such as PowerApps, Microsoft SharePoint, One-Drive, Delve, Teams, and more to support document management, collaboration, and seamless internal communication.
  • Manage Public facing portals and websites with aesthetically pleasing graphics and designs that communicated the brand of the company.
  • Perform real-time data integration between DCS & SCADA devices leveraging the OLEDB Process Control – Data Access Protocol and developing robust visualizations that mirrors these processes leveraging the OSIsoft PI Solution.
  • Provide day-to-day end-user software and hardware infrastructure support in-line with defined SLA to ensure prompt incidence resolution and end-user satisfaction.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Information Technology or related discipline.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Working knowledge of Operations and Drillings Technical hardware and software (Kappa, OSIsoft PI, and Landmark EDM) installation is an added advantage.
  • Understanding and efficient use of Semantic Backup exec and other third-party backup software is crucial.
  • Knowledge in Office 365 Development (Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, Power Automate, Power Apps) is necessary for this role.
  • Understanding VPN technologies is a must.
  • Ability to install, configure and manage HP hardware servers and Microsoft servers operating systems.

Job Title: Drilling Materials Service Coordinator – DMSC (Production Operations)

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • The DMSC Coordinator will perform both cost control and cost analytical roles in support of production and facility operations.
  • He will be responsible for oversight and review of production costs associated with work performed for Oriental assets.
  • He or She will also implement several cost tracking, monitoring activities through daily reports, and daily oversight of platform activities with the on-site engineering team.

Responsibilities and Key Objectives

  • Identify and propose internal and cross-functional process improvements.
  • Ensure strong alignment between operations and finance.
  • Support Material and Services Manager and Team on all financial aspects.
  • Liaise and participates in regular Inventory/stock checks at all locations where stock is held (including third-party storage).
  • Verify invoices/SOW/VOWD, which includes coding, contract compliance, checking against commitment, budget levels
  • Ensure strong alignment between operations, drilling and finance (cost bases, reviews and cost commitments)
  • Raise and issue call offs order on behalf of the drilling and production teams.
  • Analyse and report on all vessel/logistics related cost – 12 reports expected.
  • Coordinate and document vendor query on issues associated with call-offs and invoice processes on behalf of the drilling and production teams.
  • Where applicable analyze and report on all helicopter cost-sharing-related costs – 12 reports expected.
  • Ensure strong alignment with vendors, shore base teams, offshore teams, supply chain, drilling, and finance for adequate materials/services coordination (cost bases, reviews and cost commitments, service performance).
  • Identify and report cost savings.
  • Process Goods Receipt Report (GRR) – Drilling Material Control Report to ensure that equipment deliveries are processed within the receipts system, in order to pay invoices in time.
  • Support the Contracts & Procurement team in the contracting and procurement of materials and services, ensuring that C&P activity falls within planned budgets and that drilling/operations requisitions are raised and coded correctly.
  • Any other special projects or assignments within the fiscal year.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
